Today I was talking to my friend and he commented about how awesome Windows 7 was because it had this built-in search feature where you could type in keywords and the program would look for all the files in your computer that had those terms in it. Before when he owned an older version of Windows he had to download some Google software that had that function because it was not yet part of the OS. I responded by sounding amazed that there would be such a neat little useful function.

Inside I was smugly thinking, yah, my older generation Mac has that as an option on the toolbar too, and it was already a built-in feature without additional software downloads. It's called Spotlight.
